Singapore politics I find very interesting, although I don't lean to one side or the other, I do feel for the people, I believe the government need the competition. and in the 40 years the government have done a great job, to build a Country, but now I would like to say for who?
This country is multinational and in my opinion speaking English is a major step forward for all that live here, and the reason is because UK do not run this Country, neither do USA, even though they would both like to be in charge. Raffles must be thanked for what he set out to do, the next is for the people, and the Chinese, to give up, their strong powers, and to acknowledge the community for what it is.
Equality for Singaporeans, and grandfathers and mothers do matter. they made Singapore, not the government. Singapore is united, and the government should reflect this., for the identity of thousands that are in doubt.

This is so out of bounds that I'm not going to touch it... because FEER does a better job anyway:
