I Live Overseas, Need Help Regarding Double Eyelid Surgeon

Post by Angelclaud » Fri, 06 Oct 2006 10:48 pm

Hiya! I live overseas and wanted to go to Singapore to do double eyelid surgery. I like a more natural look.

So far I've narrowed it down to 2 doctors: Dr. Wong Saw Yeen and Dr. Hong Soo Wan who are within my price range.

I've read quite good review for Dr. Wong, however, there's also been concerned that he's already around 60+ something now. Will that be an issue?

I didn't read quite so much review regarding Dr. Hong, but the few reviews I found seemed to be good.

Since I work and can only spend around 10 days in Singapore, I can't really go to each doctor for consultation first. I plan to do the consultation and operation in one day and of course, want to make appointment first.

So was hoping the receive inputs from those of you in Singapore or who have done the surgery with the doctors recently. Any suggestions or information is highly appreciated. I would also appreciate it if you can send me photos to see.

Thank you so much for all of your help.

Double Eyelid Surgery

Post by Angelclaud » Sat, 07 Oct 2006 2:51 pm

Thanks. I am actually considering Dr. Seah and Dr. Harry Fok. I emailed Dr. Fok with couple of questions and reply quite promptly and nicely. However, his charge is a bit higher than my range.

I called Gleneagles hospital to enquire some information regarding Dr. Seah, however, the lady who picked up the phone weren't exactly very friendly. She said something about the fee ranging from $2000 - $ 2500. Then kept on asking me to just make appointment. I needed some questions answered first.

Actually I plan on going to Singapore next Friday, so I really don't have much time left. Need to decide ASAP. *sigh* it's a pity today is Saturday, I have to wait till Monday to make enquiry.
