Unfortunately, i have not been given the chance to do so as most of the firms that i have applied prefer someone with experience or a degree holder. This has been going on for four years now (i graduated in 2002).
I am still hopeful to land myself with a Mass Comm related job as i love to interact and communicate. So, for the past few years, i have been supporting myself by doing temporary jobs and contracts, mainly administrative, customer service and even a technical job. These are not jobs of my preference but had to so as to support myself.
As for now, I am jobless after my last contract job end in June 2006. I am desperately looking for a permanent job now as i do not wished to continue with contract or temporary jobs as i intend to stablize myself with a job and to start a career (i am 27).
I hoped to get helps and advices from everyone here as this has been haunting me every single day. I am really at lost as to what i should do and it can be demoralizing at times. Please help me with this.

I don't understand why you have been wasting your time for the last few years! A person with these qualifications, and confidence and using the nick" hopeful" doesn't actually demonstrate much confidence to me, if I was to be a prospective employer.
A person with these qualifications and confidence would be demonstrating a unique employ me, campiagn if hey had a little more creative push, although, your unhappieness is shineing through for all too see.
I would like to ask why you haven't consdiered working for yourself, I mean if you can be productive, then you don't really have a problem!
Look at it this way, consider me has your employer right! Now I have a job for you, this is the biggest opportunity of your life, so if you blow this, you are back to square one.
I have a an organisation that needs, clients, you have the qualifictions, that i can use to recruit, these clients, So I want you to setup a small office from home and get cracking on the project!
The project will need all the skills that you mention to succeed, and a little more, do you have what it takes to succeed?

ok I can make it very clear, if you can be productive, I get paid, and you get to keep your job, if you are not productive, I don't get paid.
So the answer is results and not excuses! You can easy work for yourself if you stop making excuses for not doing so!

The fact is you would be an extention of my own business, the problem is, we are too young a company to throw away our capital on a loser, we only take winners, so if your a winner, you will consider what I am writing.
The actual cost to setup up your own business is very little indeed, what you need is your confidence for public relations, advertising/marketing and events management skills, to do what i ask.
If you cannot do what i ask, then you are giving me excuses and not results, and i cannot afford to have people around me, that are non productive.
