Hi,
Can anyone recommend a midwife to attend a homebirth?
Thanks.

Hi Sydney Mum,

Homebirth is certainly an option in Singapore, unfortunately we have had no success finding midwives who would be willing to attend a homebirth.

Also the two OB's in SIngapore who support homebirth only do so under certain circumstances such as a woman who has had a vaginal birth before, so if this is your first baby, it might be tricky.
Having said that, in the past, some women have flown a midwife up from Australia (or the U.K) to attend. Perhaps this is an option for you to think about?

The link below may have some info for you. Feel free to contact me personally if you want to chat about it.

Good luck
