Post by megha » Fri, 22 Sep 2006 1:39 pm

My husband will be travelling to eastern europe and as much as possible he wants to do his shopping here, while we found all the jackets and other warm clothes he will need there, we dont know where to get shoes from.

Can anyone advise where can he get ankle length boots for snow in singapore preferably at a reasonable price as it is for a short time use.

thanks

If i'm not mistaken, there is a outwardbound shop, by the China Town MRT, cross road. You will see, the shoping mall on the same side of MRT, Swensons cafe is on the ground floor opposite Coffe bean. In that mall, i'm sure I you will find what you want. they have stuff for arctic conditions, tents coats, boots ect. best i can do.

Or try Ebay Singapore, there is some Goretex boots here. http://cgi.ebay.com.sg/Brand-new-GORETE ... dZViewItem. Best to try them first, so contact the person, if they can get you the right sizes, it looks like the seller is a retailer, because there is only 2$ difference in the start price and Buy it now price. Link doesn't seem to work, so go to mens shoes, type in boots, and search
