How to organise a competition?

Post by cookiejoe » Thu, 21 Sep 2006 4:31 pm

Hi all,

I currently would like to organise a competition preferable at national level where everyone can take part in it. Anyone interested to help me out? Anyway i welcome everyone who is interested.

Now the main problem is, I am wondering if some of the top prizes will be in cash, do i need to get any approval or how should i go about doing it?
By the way anyone can suggest a couple good venues for the competition?

*Just a hint, its a educational competition!

Gd Luck to all!

Thx pple
Opportunities may pass by only once,
Grab it while it brushes off you,
Miss it and may be gone forever!

Don't think you are allowed to give cash prizes!!! especially if you are not a registered events organizer, could also be licence issues.

Its no big deal in UK, quiz night is quite popular, something that could be done here too, entertaining and good fun! (for all you people, that need some creative ideas to earn a $ or 2)

yes... u can look fo the individual cc to organise the events there...
Or u can seek your MP for help. he/she is able to link you to other community centre.

or u can go to private club like grassroot's club or Metropolitan YMCA to co-host an events...
