Cake Making class?

Postby miumiu » Thu, 14 Sep 2006 9:51 pm

Does any of you know a good place to learn cake baking & decorating? I came across a few websites that offer such courses in Singapore, but I'm not sure if they're reputable or not.

One of them is NITEC : http://www.bitc.com.sg <== for 4 mths basic course, it costs $2000++ :'(

another one is http://creativeculinaire.com/ $300 for basic course, but you have to share with another partner, that means only 1 person gets to do/use 1 thing at a time.. :?

So.. if you could recommend a good place, please lemme know :) thanks~

I've seen a few cake courses in the classifieds of The Strait Times...I'm not sure if you have already investigated these though.

Hi,

I know this place called Phoon Huat(bakery products supplier) near Aljunied that conduct baking classes. Don't know if this is something you're looking for. You might want to find out more by googling for "phoon huat" and you will be able to get their contact and info.

Cheers...
Don

The local community centres organize baking classes at reasonable prices. Call and find out.
