Hi There Mommies,

I am a fulltime office employee & my son is now 15months. I want to spend mo activities with him during weekends. I'm planning to organize playgroup for toddlers once a week (weekends).

Playdate Activity 001: Messy Play

Playdate: 1st October 2006

Location: TBA (SENGKANG)



Description of the activity:

Messy play gives children the opportunity to experience a wide range of sensory experiences. It will be parent/s and child activity.


Messy play helps children:

* Relax - it can be a soothing activity that helps release tension and frustration
* Express their feelings in a creative way
* Experiment with the properties of materials, e.g. does it hold its shape or pour or run?
* Learn about colour mixing, patterns, design, texture and rhythm
* Develop hand-eye coordination.

Activity details

* Sing and dance Nursery Rhymes
* Hand-painting, Paint-brush painting, Coloring using crayons




Venue + Material fees: TBA (around S$10 per child)

* Materials includes: Re-usable Apron(w/ personalized child’s name), white Paper, crayons, paint (baby-safe), Paint brush, sponges (basic shapes)
* Venue cost: will depends to the number of participants
