thanks for ur advise OPT. me i'm half convinced that it's effective by watching olinda cho's before & after 6 weeks photos (how naive i am!) but at the same time, i'm wondering whether it will work for me or it's just the waste of time and money. the problem is there are many feedbacks on marie france bodyline but none for body perfect and they don't have a website. i don't want to visit their place for the fear of being harrassed :( [/quote]

Don't be sucked in by these before and after pics....

All I can say is exercise and nutrition is the only way. If any of these companies had actual scientific proof why have they never published it (and I have requested proof many, many times before).

I find in Asia this problem is even worse than else where - I don't know if there is some loop hole in the law or something but a lot of there advertising would be classified as "false advertising" in most other countries.

And they are always focused on aesthetic goals: lost 10kg in 2mths etc.

Nobody say things like: i got GOLD in my IPPT after joining this program. :P

that's right. i think the regulatiion over the advertisement is still weak. for example, an air ticket can be advertised at S$888 to xyz city, but when one accepts the offer, the "total cost" could ballon to $1100 because the original price excludes the abc, pqr, xyz surcharge & tax.
feel cheated? "well, it is stated in the fineprint that customer needs to pay all the above tax............"
