Need to get ipod-type headphones fixed

Post by spidernyc » Sun, 10 Sep 2006 10:10 am

Hi, Looking for local places for someone to fix a set of mid-end sony headphones (for use with ipod). Sound has cut out from one earbud. I have in mind a person working out of an stall strictly doing repairs of electronic equipment.

Sim Lim where they do all the electronic repairs cost about 4$ I had mine repaired, do it while you wait, only one wire to solder, two at most.

IPOD Repair

Post by sunnydown » Sat, 16 Sep 2006 6:01 pm

I discovered a fab IPOD store at Wheelock Place, off Orchard. They do diagnostic checks while you wait, really frendly service and my problem to fix was free of charge.

do you remeber exactly where the store/stall was in Sim Lim? I was there this weekend, and brought my headphones to a handful of stores. All had told me that repair services were not available inside Sim Lim.

Thanks very much!
