We have just arrived in Singapore and are looking for an apartment. This week we viewed a place at the Caribbean which looks great, however I am concerned about how far it seems to be from schools? Can anyone give me their advice and/or recommendations for the Caribbean and whether they have school age kids who attend school and if so, how do they travel?
Thanks,
Fran

The C@Keppel indeed is a nice place, but....
Sending kids to school you need to have a car as most schools are in town. As far as I know no inernational school around the area.
In addition as soon as the new Vivo Center is up prices for renting may go up.
Suggest you first check which school you want to send your kids to and then decide on convient location.

There are kids there from a variety of
International Schools. If you don't have a car or don't want to drive them, most kids travel to school by school bus. Each school has its own bus service contractor. Just ask the schools you are considering how to contact the bus service then enquire with them about pick-up and travel times and costs. Normally for
condos they have a central pick-up point like the main gate or turning circle where all the kids meet to board the bus. You will probably be required to have an adult present to meet small kids when the bus drops them off again at the end of the day, older children that's not necessary.
