any advice on move?

Post by tim » Fri, 13 Aug 2004 8:17 am

Hello everyone,
I am moving to Singapore in a month. I just thought this would be a good place to see if anyone had any advice. I am particularly concerned with getting a nice flat. I am going to be working initially around NUS and then probably somewhere near Buona Vista MRT. Any advice at all would be welcomed. Oh, and I swim a lot.

Thanks

some other areas near nus are the clementi and dover areas - many condos with pools in these locales!

Hi, yes, this is a pretty good place, but you'll need to refine your questions/requirements a bit, in order to get decent advice. For example, what's your age (approx), gender, budget for housing, preferences for lifestyle (party animal, coach potato, etc.), how long will you stay here?, married?, kids? (& approx ages), where are you moving from?, pets?, lived abroad before, interests (travel, languages, sports) and so on.
Trust me, answer this lot and you'll have no shortage of people offering their opinions and suggestions.
Good luck
