EP advice please! update

Post by spaul » Sat, 02 Sep 2006 4:00 pm

I'm in a bit if a strange situation. I'm an American citizen and am working for a small multinational firm that is planning to send me to Singapore to take on a regional bizdev type role. My situation is that I do not have a uni degree. I do however have about 16 years of experience in bd and my salary is more than double the required amount for a P1. I've tried the MoM eligibility test they have on their site and it says I am likely to be accepted but I am still a bit concerned my application may be rejected. Can any one provide some insight to this for me? Much appreciated

You will probably be OK. You've got the specialized company role to fill that tips the balance in your favor.

spaul,

Please do not multiple cross post. I have deleted the other post in "staying & LIving in Singapore" as this is the correct placement for your post.

Thanks,

Strong Eagle,

You were right. My EP was approved in 6 days. I'm on my way! I will see you all in Singapore in December.
