Gift Vouchers for baby stuff

Post by blackrose955 » Thu, 31 Aug 2006 6:55 pm

Hi. I am intending to purchase a gift voucher for a friend who has given birth in Singapore. I have contacted Mothercare UK and Mothercare Singapore, hoping that they would be able to send the gift voucher to my friend in SG by purchase thru credit card payment. However they are not able to do this. Can anyone suggest some place else where I can purchase a gift voucher in UK or online for use in SG or internationally? Vouchers seem to be the best idea rather than sending a parcel as postage is really expensive.

Cheerios!

Hillview,
Thanks for the links. Metro does have that giftcard service, but are there many baby products in metro? Say car seat, pushcharir etc..

Will try the other link now.

Thanks!

Hi!

I'm not very familiar with Metro in Singapore though but i knew they have all kind of baby thingy in Metro Malaysia.

I did check with infant department just now :) . She said they do have baby items including pushchair & car seat. By the way pushchair & car seat only available in Tampines & woodland outlet. She cant really recall what Brand!

Hillvw,
Many thanks for the info! Guess the metro card is my best bet. Thinking of S$100 value. Is that ok? What can you get with SG$100 anyway for baby products? car seats etc?

Hi
A good Car seat might cost slightly more than S$100. Perhaps S$150 is just nice.

I hope this help.

Hillview,
I've decided to get them a Metro Gift Card with a value of S$200. I hope that should at least contribute towards getting something useful for the baby..

Thks!

blackrose955,

Great! You also must let your friend knows about the fact that Metro Tampines and Woodland only sale the 2 items.

Cheers!
