Horse Riding Lessons in Singapore

Post by franco4of5 » Thu, 31 Aug 2006 9:39 am

Can anyone recommend a place for horse riding lessons in Singapore? My daughter is 7 years old and has 1 year of experience in riding (English style) and has had grooming and safety training (back in the USA) Thanks. :D

hello franco,

i ride with my family once a month in Johor , Malaysia, just a 1/2 hour drive up north, to a place called PASIR PELANGI.

You can ride at the saddle club, polo club in singapore, but too me are simply too costly.

give me a shout if you're keen to drive into johor for a ride.
they have about 8 horses, and 2 ponies for learners.

Good luck :)

Hi,

I am returning to Singapore soon and would like to continue riding. Earlier this year we drove up to Riders' Lodge in Johor and it was an excellent place to ride, very friendly atmosphere and food was great too. I'm also interested in joining anyone along up for a ride up to Johor. Much more fun and cheaper to go with more people!

Both BTSC and Polo Club have trial memberships, but it is still cheaper to head out to JB. More space to ride too.

I rode several times before but still much beginner. Going together is a good idea. Am in! Shall we organize this? Except between 21st Oct and 5th Nov, I can block my calendar for a nice riding.
When can I stop laughing?? Life is soooooo wonderful!

I have a friend who is interested too. We are novice riders. Riders Lodge is very nice but we're open to different options as well!

I'm not sure about what will be on my calander but I hope to make this a regular thing.--in this case we have to somehow make the cost of each trip reasonably affordable.
