There are only 3 routes.

Shanghai, London and Sydney.
To be or not to be, that's a question

The results are out!

Hi all, my friend who knows someone that works in British Airways said the recruitment results are out after the final interviews yesterday.

Apparently, they only took all the EX-CABIN CREWS.

Thus, for people like me who has absolutely no flying experience, I think that's it.

Sad..

Hey Luv_BA,

You might never know, until you get a confirmation from them. From what I know, they have a quota of how many ex-crew and inexperiences to take. Moreover, being not having any airline experience, to make it to the final round is accomplishing enough. A pat on the back for yourself k!

Cheer up and I wish you best of luck!

Best Regards,
Julie Tan

Hey Luv_BA,
if that's the case, why would they let non ex-crews go all the way into the 3rd round of interview anyway?
Btw, I'm Julie, do u happen to be workin for BA or know someone who's workin for them?

Because if you meet their criteria you will be accepted, people should remember that BA does not need many people from Singapore so criteria is applied more rigidly.

Hey!

Nope, not working for BA. Also not speaking on behalf of them. Just my own opinion. But I do know some ex-crew of BA so rougly know what they are looking for. And Plavt is right! As long as you meet their requirement, inregards whether you are ex-crew or current crew or not-a-crew, they will not let you go! They will accept you.

All the best for those who made it for the last round.

Best Regards,
Julie Tan

Hey, that's comforting to know. At least those of us w/o crew experience do stand a chance after all if what you've said is true. Thks Julie.

Btw, Luv_BA, don't be disheartened. Nothing is confirmed yet, keep a lookout for the letter ok.
All the best!

hiya great day,
so those whom had went thru the 2nd interview, wat do u think they are looking for in the qualities of the candidates???
i think they are looking for service personnel whom truly wants to give good customer services, going the extra miles and most importantly..to be yourself..the fun, jovial, interesting and genuine kindness in people type..do u agree??nothing to do with being an ex crew having the extra advantages..so fret not...cuz i think looks does play only a minor part but knowing how to provide excellent services is more importantly.... i think the results is still not out yet and the candidates still need to pass their medical test and security test ...the whole process will take another month..so lets share about what u guys have felt or learnt from their interviews process..perhaps it might help the others or the interviewer in the next recruitment drive...do u think the mandarin, english or maths test was too tough?

dear corines 143

sorry i cannot reply u in the PM format...there are tips u can use to improve on ones interviewing skills..eg. deportment, manners, always smiling and appearing warm and friendly...most importantly...dress properly...alot goes to the interview in trendy clothes and it does not show respect to an employer when they come in strappy tops or jeans and strappy sandles rite?? also always be nice to the people from the company..be it ground staff or interviewers and greeting is very important.. alot of them goes to the interview without battling a eyelid or smile at the helpers which play a very important role in their recruitment!!! tips!!! also the first impression is uptmost important in the airlines initial interview process..so look into the mirror for 3 seconds and see if u like wat u see in the mirror..." are u friendly, warm, presentable and show pride in ur grooming, approachable, bring along a sense of humour to the interviews..it helps alot!!!" hope it help u in your future interviews..
