Oh c'mon, don't be mean...

Ivan, there's still a glimpse of hope~ The cut-off date is 3rd November. There is still 1 more week for them to decide. Just wait a while longer and maybe they will call you.

Awaiting SIA - I am not trying to be mean. Honestly. The cut off is 3 November? When was your interview? If you are in the first batch, and the rest have been called, your chances may be slim? You might as well wait till 3 November and move on with your life.

SQ is having interviews, I know Tiger as well if you don't mind the lower pay.

Good luck.

Toygirl - For your information, I have already received a call from BA to attend the second interview on 8 November.

Btw, I do not need a stranger to tell me what I should do with my life. I think its none of your concern anyway.

What I'm trying to do here is to let Ivan feel better and let him know that not all hope is lost as I think he is pretty upset that BA has not called him yet. Seriously, BA has got a certain quota to meet and they may really call him if they need more people.

On the other hand, you are plainly rubbing salt onto one's wounds. Does it make you feel good by doing so? And can I ask you why are you going around poking your nose into almost all the topics and posting replies when they do not concern you at all?

Awaiting Sia,

This is a public board for people to share there opinions, thoughts, philosophies, experiences and alike. There is no need to start 'bitching' at somebody else's post, if you don't like it ignore it.

Toygirl did respond to your post in which you accused her of being mean quite cordially and it was in no way intended to denigrate you or anybody else.

Now you can hate me for saying this; when you retaliate like that what would it say to interviewer about your suitability as a flight attendant?

Pardon me, I was just rather pissed off by toygirl's arrogance and that "think she knows it all" kind of attitude.

No worries Plavt, I'm cool about it.

Thank you glad you didn't intend to have a 'cat-fight' - I can't stand women fighting - prejudiced old 'fuddy-duddy' that I am. Seriously though do read through Toygirl's posts; she works within the airlines.

Awaiting_SIA,

I think that's what Plavt was referring to. What will you do when you get an arrogant passenger who 'thinks they know it all"? Snap their head off and then go back later to apologize? Don't think they will keep you long at that rate.

It's just something to think about........

Excuse me! - Where in the heck did I appear mean or arrogance? Anyway, Ivanz wait till next week and see what happens! They may be calling those who are in their 1st choice list and you may be a backup?.............

Arrogance ? I am rereading your past posts and you're actually made it into SQ? Wow. Look how you insinuate that Silkair is worser off, or make racial sarcastic remarks on terrorists. Are you even cultural sensitive? Try doing that in your BA interview with Chinese translation

"Wish that Osama will trip and fall in the toilet and probably bang his head against the toilet bowl and die."

**Please use the above when they ask questions on cultural sensitivities - You will get top marks for it**

or

"Dear passengers, this plane has been taken over by the Al Queda forces. If you look out of your right window, you can see a tall grey building. We will be crashing into it shortly. Can all passengers kindly return to your seats, fasten your seat-belts and remain seated. It may be hot and may burn quite a bit, but it will be over real soon.."

Do you think your posts are funny?

A Level Physics? A level Mathematics? for a cabin crew recruitment? Any Science stream cum Medical school wannabes applying for BA? Did your friend tell you they would having gross anatomy and physiology as well together with epidemiology, biostatistics and pathophysiology tests as well for the recruitment?

This board is a public board I hope you understand this board isn't owned by you. Freedom of speech without libel :P - Humility is important for obvious reasons - I definitely agree with you. :)

Gosh - Miscommunication with ......Ivanz....... what do you think.......... = Arrogance and rudeness? I have already explained - I did not mean it in a nasty way. My posts here have always been to help people! Yes I have been posting in topics which I have experience in or can contribute.

Your whining rants... Girl grow up please. Your seniors will be end up dumping you to a warming oven in the hope of warming you up!

Lastly, please do share - Are you going to STC? Did you get a training date yet? (Shock!)

As tempted as Toygirl is to sweezes Awaiting SIA out into the cart lift and press UP..... Your life is none of my concern - This is a public forum - Don't like my comments, scroll down :)

= Thanks for repeating my quote - Do that onboard. What did I mean by that - Service flow - First class passenger wants something, economy class passenger wants something - Do it and question later. That's what I meant.

I am kind of startled that I offended you! Rubbing salt? Not really. I rather be practical about it and provide options then go "oooooh so poor thing... sob sob - hold hand"

Anyhow - Good luck to you! :) You'll need so much of it!

P.S. - In my past 6-7 years - You will have to be the only candidate I know of who did 10 year series in true Singapore nature to prepare for an interview as a cabin crew. I'm sorry. It's just freaking FUNNY!!!

Hmm.. I think if I'm going to attend the interview, I will rather focus on the Mandarin more than anything else as that's their priority isn't it?

Best Regards,

No worries Ivanz, seriously you don't have to apologize at all.

You think I really care if BA would call you?
In fact, I don't give a damn.
