I wanted to travel on Palace on wheels about 5yrs back, but it was then open only to Foreigners. What I know is that it is a thrilling Maharaja style experience for people, who have travelled on it for the entire 7 days.

It will really be expensive on your pocket if you travel in the peak season of October to April (S$6000/- for 7 days trip), which is considered peak season and ticket prices are 50% more the off peak period from May to September. It is winter in Delhi/Agra/ Rajastan from Nov- Mar, so be prepared with your warm clothes.
