Aus elections & voting

I'm wondering what do other Aussies do when it comes to voting for State & Federal elections, whilst in Singapore.

The Victorian election is this November. Is there a place where aussies can go to vote in Singapore, or do you register as a postal voter?

Like you choice of words! In Yank land were I'm from going Postal means going off the deep end. Wacko....nut case. .....on the roof with a 30-06 & scope! Almost all of them are voters as well!

We decided that postal voting was a pain, and have now taken ourselves off the list, which means you have to re -enrol when you go back. It also depends on how long you are going to be overseas etc.

Not sure where you could lodge votes here, we did so in HongKong at the High Commission, so perhaps it is the same here.
