British School / Best School

Post by Bruno » Sat, 26 Aug 2006 5:42 pm

Hi,

Moving to singapore January 2007. Looking for advice for the best school to put my kids to (age 7 and 4). I have read through some of the forums on schools and i am confused. We will be moving over from Scotland and are looking for British/international schools. Location is not an issue as i would find property close to the school of our choice.

Thanks in Advance

International Community School

Hello, Why the confusion? Everyone has an opinion and you'll have to find what suits your family, but International Community School is my recommendation and would be great for both of your children, and is family friendly, with a loving, and encouraging learning environment...and in a good area of the country, too...the western part...with lots to see and do. Investigate and find out more...and give them a call if questions. Welcome to Singapore! :)

Hi,

Also from Scotland (Perth) but living in Surrey. We were out on a recon trip last week and viewed Chatsworth, Dover, Tanglin and UWC. IMO some destinct differences between them and the better ones could be hard to get into straightaway. We are planning to put our daughter in one school whilst we register and wait for placement in the School that we (and many others) view as the best.
