Cucumber juice for treating dark eye rings
Cucumber juice for treating dark eye rings
Hi, was wondering if anyone has tried cucumber juice in treating dark eye rings? Heard it is effective on many websites... any experiences?

I have tried all this ,waster so much money, now i am fed up but I certainly will not go to any beauty salon.
Well, one beautician told me that you can crush Vitamin E tablet, add a drop of water and apply over the dark area.I havent try cos i dont even know where to get the Vitamin E tablet. Since I take Herbalife, I like their skincare range and tried the eye serum by Dermajetics. Yeah it did reduce the dark circles to a certain extent.
But I also got introduced to a Indian remedy which worked well. Take a little gram flour, mix a little water and apply it to your eye area or face every day to see smooth skin and good results.
You should also not take much water closer to sleeping time or it will cause water retention at you eye bags.

Hi, thanks for your reply.. is the eye serum by Dermajetics really good? it does reduce your eye circles? How long have you been using it and how much is it? I'm thinking of getting Bioxil circle vanish...
Anyway , i don't really trust all these home remedies... even for cucumber, i doubt there will be much improvements.
Have you heard of laser treatments ? I've personally contacted some aesthetic surgeons both private and govenment... the price is really steep i must say, and i don't know is it worth it after all, as i dont know how much improvement will there be.. Still very confused... Yet desperately wanna treat this stupid condition!!!

I sincerely dont think you should go waste money on this surgeons, I believe its all a temporary effect.I got the Dermajetics from my Herbalife distributor. She sold me to me, i think at 36 -38. But yes ,it did reduce. However,as I mentioned I feel that my gram flour , worked more btr. So then I stopped using dermajetics.
Speaking from my own experience, home remedies are unlikely to do much for hereditary dark eye rings. I just saw a cosmetic surgeon yesterday who prescribed me a gel. Gels and creams tend to be have slow results so it remains to be seen whether it'd be effective.
I actually considered IPL (laser treatment) to solve the problem but one has to go through a series of this treatment (each costing a few hundred dollars). The doctor also told me there would be redness and pain, which is what finally deterred me from doing it.

Hi pandagirl, i'm also considering IPL for my hereditary dark eye rings. However, many surgeons told me this is only temporary, the dark circles might recurr. so after the whole series of initial IPL, one has to go back for periodic treatments. Gotta prepare to spend on this.
I'm unsure what is the cause of my dark circles, cus i've yet to see a surgeon in person. Since you've seen one, did he tell you the cause of yours? i heard that different causes will need different treatments. IPL is only for pigmentation.
A cosmetic surgeon usually charge for around 400-500 each IPL, beauticians go at a lower price. but i dont know if they are professional. I'm still saving up while doing researchs...Hope people can share more of our experiences here.
Re: Cucumber juice for treating dark eye rings
I see the only solution as to avoiding dark eye rings is to sleep early. ie: before 12 midnight.roxygerrr wrote:Hi, was wondering if anyone has tried cucumber juice in treating dark eye rings? Heard it is effective on many websites... any experiences?
The qn: do you sleep late at night?
