The road to EP is hard and tough =(

Post by garnet » Tue, 22 Aug 2006 9:40 pm

I'm a foreigner and just graduated from a uni. I'm planning to start a small business in Singapore, a small eatery selling my hometown delicacies.

In order to register my business with ACRA, I have to apply for EP. Now MOM told me that I have to submit a "business plan" include my business idea, marketing plan, financial projection etc before they can approve my application.

I mean, I'm just opening a small eatry. And I'm from science stream. There's no way I can write a plan like that. What if MOM find my plan lousy and decline my application?

So is there anyone out there who can help me solve my problem, one way or another?

Thanks a lot.

No, the road is not hard and tough... it is really simple. If you have thought out your business at all you already know who your competition is, how much you will make, etc.

If you haven't thought this out, you are a fool to go into business.

MOM is very reasonable but they do demand that if you want to open a business you ought to be able to predict how it will do.

Is that so hard?

Goatboy will always cherish his former goatgirl.
But the world is full of fluffier ones.
