Oh i have such a problem and had tried so many off shelf products, havbe yet to find any good ones so far. But the tentative remedy i'm using now is neutrogena clarifying once a week and daily use baby johnson - for baby ones - yellow original one as this is less chemical content and milder not to harm the scalp further.

i have that kind of hair too.....i was close to thinning hair n losing my hair until i met my current stylist. he adviced me to do scalp treatment. its applied to ur scalp directly n it has microbeads so the shampoo gal will rub it against ur scalp. they will finish off the treatment with an ampoule
my condition was so bad that i started once every 2 weeks....its been 3 yrs now that i onli go to him when i have dandraff or flakes. these r caused by stress, diet, amount of water you drink a day etc.
i also use Philip Kinsley Shampoo n Conditioner which cost a bomb....but my hair grew back n filled up those bald patches i had due to my condition.
now i jus do my treatment whenever i feel the need to.

The treatment is to get rid of build up (oil, hair gel, hair moose etc).....this way ur scalp can "breathe" n wont result in thinning hair....the problem with oily scalp is you tend to have lots of build up.....
i think its always good to get a shampoo that cleans well n yet dun dry out the hair which is really hard.....usually the conditioner is the one that is of moisturising content cos you eventually dun use conditioner on ur scalp.

Had the same prob as you ladies. Used the Phyto range for my oily scalp: Phytocedrat. Works quite well. As for my dry hair, I condition as per normal & do hot-oil treatments & as well as hair masks myself. Scalp treatment helps too which I used to do at least once a mth.
Hope that helps!
