Sofa and electricals

Post by sydneymum » Sat, 19 Aug 2006 9:52 am

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy a sofa? I know there of Ikea and high-end furniture stores.. is there something in between?
Also, is Mustafa the best place for electricals? Can anyone recommend where can we find good prices and a range of products?
Thanks!

you can try the store "BIG BY SAFE" at harbourfront. They have electricals and furniture too......its on level 3

if you need more electricals....another decent place to go is Best Denki.....They r reasonably priced compared to Harvey Norman

Most of these places have interest free instalments with major credit cards too.....as for Best Denki, they have the BEST card which you can apply to get rebates.

As for more furniture, you can check for "V-Hive".

Here is the link for you :

Hope the information is helpful

There are quite a few furniture shops like Casa Italy, Lorenzo, some of these shops are located along MacPherson area, or you can also visit IMM at Jurong.

Electricals are affordable prices is Mustafa. Best Denki is not bad for its range but be prepared to pay a little more.

sydneymum, a former melbourne mom with 2 teens. What children questions do you have? Although they are older, if I can't answer it, someone else may be able to. We have all been there done that so to speak.

hi matney
thanks for offering to help with questions about kids.. i feel i have so many at the moment that i dont know where to start! they are mainly: is there a group of other mums with near where i live to hook up with, what classes should i take my little boy to, where is the best place for shoes, clothes etc for him. the sort of thing i am sure i will find out in due course, i guess.
maybe i should try the parenting section on this site?
