Visiting Advice for Buddies

Post by Patrick777 » Tue, 15 Aug 2006 1:03 am

I have some buddies visiting Singapore about a week before I arrive, they are then flying on to Australia.

Where you tell them they must see(they have 2 nights 3 days)

Where can they get OK beach wear for the trip to Aus at OK prices?

They are staying in the Oriental Hotel any suggestions for meals would be great.

Cheers

Patrick

Enjoy . . .

PS: For swimwear, check out Sea Folly at #01-068, Suntec City Mall.
Beach wear is also available at most of the other malls - Marina Square and Raffles City malls are close to the Oriental.

If they are going to Aus, I reckon they have a better choice at a much cheaper rate as compared to the ones in Singapore.

Go to Pacific Plaza in Orchard for brands like ripcurl, roxy & quiksilver & Raffles City for Billabong.

As for food, the open air food stall just beside the Esplanade serves pretty good local delights. The new Marina Square which is just a stone throw away offers pretty decent food with heaps of variety.

cheers
