missing posts?

Post by EADG » Tue, 15 Aug 2006 12:59 am

hey, wassup?

I hit 500 posts last week, and my status changed to Reporter or Manager or something other than Chatter - now I'm somehow down to <500 posts

not that I care, but do wonder which went missing, and why

EADG,

probably what happened is that the admins pruned the database. If you are fimiliar with dbases you know that that sometimes in order to speed up things they have to get rid of some of the old stuff. Usually pruning is set by date so all of us would lose some post counts when this happens.

Does that mean if I didn't post for long enough, eventually my old posts would get deleted and I would be a Newbie again?

Sigh, if only life worked like that too. Sit back and do nothing for a while and turn 18 again! :D
