Car co-ownership

Post by erikwp » Fri, 11 Aug 2006 6:23 pm

Hello everyone!

I'm moving to Singapore next month and have already read about the ridiculous cost of car ownership. In The Netherlands we have several schemes where you pay a fee each month and get the rights to use a co-owned car for a fixed amount of time/distance. If you need a longer period/distance you pay extra. Are there any schemes like this in Singapore? I only need a car in the weekend for shopping and/or trips into Malaysia and renting looks more expensive to me.

Cheers! 8-)

The closest scheme you will find is known as the FlexCar Scheme through the use of a fleet of Honda Civics throught the island.

(NOTE: I am not affliated with the above services)

Good luck with your move to Singapore.
