Nasi Padang

Post by Gone Asiatic » Wed, 09 Aug 2006 10:21 am

It`s been a few years since I was last in Singapore, but I may get an opportunity to visit soon. I remember there was an excellent Nasi Padang restaurant on Jalan Pisang (near Sultan Mosque) called the Hjh Mainumah. Is it still there? Their website is no longer up.

Near Tanjong Pagar station was another Nasi Padang restaurant called Lake Toba.

Does anyone like Nasi Padang cuisine? What`s your favorite restaurant/warung?

If you want the real deal, i.e. good Indonesian food, have a look at the

Calling for Indonesian Members thread

Most of them are listed there

Was having a look at the directory

Since I'm not familiar with the place, would appreciate it if you'll let us know at which block is the "asam paya" shop located.

Thanks
