Hi everyone,
Im a singaporean and my boyfriend currently lives in Illinois, US.
He did not complete his final year for college where he majored in Massage Therapy and minored in Arts.
Is there any employment opportunities for him here?
We would like to start a family together in Singapore, but we'll have to get him here with a valid employment too...
Please help, Abby

The short answer would be no.
The long answer is that either he needs to come up with a very convincing business plan and start his own company, or he needs to convince some company that he's got something that nobody in Singapore can do. But his academic qualifications, or lack thereof, will be a major problem.

Does he have any other qualified skills and experience? Without certifications, i'm sure it's hard to convince any employers into employing him. Or like jpatokal said, if he can set up his business here, it might be possible.

Thanks for the many replies...though unfavorable to my situation....
I was reading about Landed PR...would that help?
I mean, can I sponsor him to get here so that he can find a regular job like other locals???
Thanks for any help or advice that I can get.
Cheers,
