To get from SG to Palm Villa Golf Course without a car

Can anyone provide information on how to get from a Singapore hotel to the Palm Villa Golf Course in Malaysia without car? I go to Singapore often (from Tokyo) and normally have to rely on others at work to pick me up and bring me back. I'd like to be able to go by myself sometimes.

Not very easy... cheapest option is to haul yourself over the border to Johor Bahru, then grab a Malaysian taxi. Alternatively and somewhat more expensively, head to the Malaysian taxi stand on Rochor Rd, who can cross the border and drive you straight to your destination.

pfaulkne, why dont you rent a car for a few days. It will save you lot's more trouble.
