spa

I like going to spa but I find it expensive and travelling to & fro takes time. So to solve the problem, I bought myself a home spa and treat myself to spa whenever I feel I need a recharge or just to pamper myself. At times when friends visit, I treat them to spa too. You can consider getting a home spa :)

SPA less than $100.00

Post by Hanesa » Sun, 20 Aug 2006 10:17 pm

If you gals don't mind traveling to batam island. A good 2-hour spa includes ferry is only $98.00. Shop while you are there, why not.

Check this website http://www.batamholidays.com for info.

Get another friend or two to join and make it a weekend for girls day out.

Cheers
Hann

hi scarlet,

agree with hanesa.

i go to batam once a month with my wife for a solid backrub with head and feet massage.

friend of mine owns a 3-storey massage building there!

so cheap: S$40/- for

2 and a half hours of massage
including
1 hr of exfoliation scrub
1 hr of therapy massage
1/2 hr of milk bath and steam bath

WOOHOO!

Let me know if you're keen. Wanna go again :)

Where is Batam and how does one get there? If it's outside Singapore, doesn't the cost of travel make up for the cheap massage?

I visited the Singapore tourist office on Orchard Road today and got a lot of leaflets about Spa. They listed in price lists and details, some even have discounts coupons on the leaflets. Have a check.

Yup... Me too... Trying to make a 'habbit' to go down Batam once a month for some spa, relaxing, and seafood... Usually I go is a 2D1N trip which consists of 3hr spa, hotel stay etc for about 150 per pax..

but well, usually I went with 1 travel mates.. Tried organising in this forum but failed... lol

Anyway, if anyone interested in going batam, maybe we can discuss over it?

To luv32,

You can check out this link if you interested. There's many spa located around central. Usually I go theretreat which is at Changi Village though... More to east though...

which kinds of spa?

Post by wouterv81 » Tue, 28 Jul 2009 9:39 pm

In Belgium we got something like 'private spa', which is a small resort u can rent for an hour (or two or three hours), which has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, lounge area, steam shower, sauna etc...
The last place we been to here even had an outside swimming pond (completely natural).

We are moving to Singapore soon and we are wondering if there are also heavenly places like this. Private atmosphere is a must.

thanks for the answers
Wouter

hi there..

if you really like a day of full pampering in tropical environment, i would suggest asmara spa at bishan park. ive been there a couple of times, prices are alil steep ($100 - $150) but itz really worth a try. you can also spend a day there, there's a lil guest lounge with tea and biscuits for you to chill and sauna which u can use for however long u want. the place is very nicely put together.. if you are done with ur spa, u can also choose to have coffee or even a healthy organic meal next to the spa. itz worth a check out! ;)

here's the website.. hope it helps :D
