Women's Work wear?

Post by Floridian » Sat, 29 Jul 2006 10:35 am

I'm moving to Singapore in a few weeks from the US and as I'm pretty tall I figured I should probably stock up on work clothes in the US. Any insight into what women wear in the workplace would be great... will be working in Banking in the CBD area.

Thanks!

:D

Hey Floridian
,you might want to keep a wardrobe of pants, skirts and some jackets.Generally, in Singapore, you wont really find people walking around in jackets, cos of the weather .The best is to just keep stock of formal clothes. In some companies, Fridays are a casual wear day.

Yes, it would be a good idea to stock up on shift dresses or skirt suits in light summer fabrics and cotton tops. Considering the temperature and high humidity outdoors, the jacket is not normally worn in non-airconditioned places.
