Immunisation for kids

Post by thejusbus » Mon, 24 Jul 2006 6:38 pm

Are there any specific jabs the kids need when relocating to Singapore from the UK ?

Thanks

Immunisations

We are heading out to Singapore next month. Our GP and local travel advice centre recommended Hepatitis A and B and the BCG for the boys. We are also getting Typhoid for Malaysia. We have left things a bit late to get all the vaccinations before we go. The boys will get the BCG out in Singapore. I would be interested to know what advice you have been given.

We moeved to singapore from UK in February with our 4 year old. We didnt have any jabs before coming but have subsequently had Heb A and B. Thyphoid is not prevelant here but if you are travelling to remote areas for extended periods of time it is recommended.

Hope this helps and hope the move goes well!

Similar advice given to us. We have already started jabs for Hep A & B.

Thanks for the contributions !
