thanks everyone fr the reply...

but i think some of my frens are worried...
coz if SIA do not confirm...
then they are left hanging...
and do not know when they should tender....

coz the 1 month's notice only starts when you tender ma...
i forsee a problem for themmm...

hopefully they confirm soon....
best case if they have future dates available
and lets you sign the contract first.....
and be a bit more transparent....

think all of us too nervous during the tea session
to ask all these post-medical practical questions.....

He waited for around 3 weeks to a month.... No reason was given..just a letter to inform you of their decision...
Anyway I presumed he got rejected due to his PES C status and injury sustain during NS....

I'm just presuming that's the cause... i may not be right...

well, if he really want to know about the real reason, he can call the CCE to check about it. i doubt its the pes status, i guess. it would be better he called, at least he knows the reason behind it, so he can go back and try again. but wat is his injury?

i guess, first he may try to write in a email. cos if im not wrong, someone here had a call from the CCE to explain y she didnt make it thru. well thats basically i know.

wat exactly is his injury? unless its a back problem, i guess u r right abt the pes status.

Yes it is a back problem...
Well, an email was send and the reply was "Wait for the call/letter" subsequent emails were ignored or no replies at all.....let alone ask for a reason why he was rejected...

anyway u've got CCE number?

nope i do not have any. ya if its a back problem, it maybe the reason. i mean, as a FA, u need to stand for a long period of time, and to what i know, most ppl with back problem cant do so compare to normal ppl. as they tends to have back ache after a while, due to the stressin of thier back.

it may not be all ppl with backache prob to have this problem, but maybe the aviation doctor might have a certain guidelines to adhere to.

This would be impractical on account of the need to speak clearly and concisely when addressing passengers either face-to-face, over the public address system or in times of emergencies.

Some people have been cleared with therapy, if you are unfortunate enough to be the sufferer try asking your doctor who can point you in the right direction.
