hello

so for those with immediate notice will get a call within 2 weeks
what about those who needs 1 to a few months of notice?

when would they get the call or the mailed contract?
any idea anyone...
those who have frens already flying and needed a notice period?

I would presumed to be this way... those with immediate notice will be given a call within 2 weeks.. welll that depends if there are vacancies for the batch ya?

after i got the call on monday.. I got the contract in my mailbox on the Sat... probably an allowance of 1 week for them to get it over....

well i guess, most ppls from the last interview has gone for the medical. i guess, we should give them some time to sort our stuff out. We maybe be worried with our application, but for them in the office, i guess theres hundreds of them to get worried with.

base on the norm timeframe, i guess its about 11 - 14 days when they get back to us, minus off the sat and sun, then for the medical to go back to office, do the security screening, and lastly for the ladies in the office to hold on to our application and give us a call, i guess quite fast liao.

e.g like madmonk case, he went medical on the 18, and got a response from office on the 24, as u can see how fast it is after deducting the sat and sun. right anot madmonk?

yeah.. it seems logical that 11-14 days is quite reasonable.. But i do understand from astro point of view... I was also in the stage of worrying about the process... whether or not i get kicked out.. haha... Its a norm to worry.. especially you cleared all the stages and u realised your medical fails..

ohh.. raven.. u got thru too???? are u waiting for any thing at the moment?
btw... guys.. which walk in u guys went for?? i went for the 1st july.. mgmt on the 18th

by the way to update.. the next batch is open.. scheduled for august 30/3st... got a friend inside that already

yup. through indeed. everyone will be worried sick esp u made so far. But from what i know, those without immediate notice will have to wait abit or infact when your date drew nearer to your notification date, they will eventually call you up. as for now, they will settle for those whom can start immediately or notification of up to 1 mth

hahha..... well.. You have to wait again for arnd 2-3 weeks for your batch to start, the contact to mail to you.. sign.. return to them.. and with your surety to HR to sign your contract... hahaha.. MUCH More to come dude... Happy waiting man.... I have two more weeks to wait only.. Such a long wait... but look at the bright side ya!

my medical was on the 20th..
and urs was on the 18th right? and they called u on 24th...Eh wait...is u madmonks right?

hmm....gotttta wait so longggggggggg.................
so first call wil be telling me my results for medical and possible training date is it? thereafter then they start sending me the email and contract is it?

i will wait patiently for my notification period to draw near...

so they won't call to let you know if you pass your medical or not, assuming most people will pass that...????

if they call for training dates, means you r alright?

if they dun call when your notificaiton period is up, then u fail your medical or background screening test right?
or do they call to tell you why you can't make it?

Hi Astro,

I would think that most people will pass their medical..I'm not sure if SQ will call you back and inform you that the medical test fails. I do have some guys friends who are asked to return for 2nd round of medical test.

Yes . Once they call you for your training dates, You are pretty much safe infact VERy safe! no worries... be patient ya!

Rest assured that probably they will call as it approaches to your notification period...

Hi Astro,

dont mention abt it. we are glad to provide whatever we know. from my side, all i kow is that they will call you when u r approachin your notification period. if u got your training dates, yes you are pretty safe. confirm your medical past. but as for background screening , im not sure whether do they scan before they call you or what, maybe someone whom knows abt this, can advise this.
