Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

Post by Flutterby » Thu, 20 Jul 2006 6:25 pm

Ive called around several Cold Storage branches and none of them have stock of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda. I use it for household cleaning. The other baking sodas come in small containers.. the Arm and Hammer one is very economical for a slightly larger quantity.

Does anyone know where else they might have stock of it or where else i could get baking soda - large amount but economically?

Thanks

Fairprice at Parkway use to carry it. It's on my shopping list as I recently cleaned the frig and I like to put a small box in the frig to absorb any ordors. When I find it I'll let you know.

Arm and Hammer

someone from cold storage said they have a shipping problem-

any other brand of baking soda is ok too-- as long as is a large quantity..
i'm helping a friend out in her house and she has an old carpet- just want to sprinkle the baking soda on it to remove the musty smell!

the alternative is a carpet powder to sprinkle on and vacuum but cant find those either!!

if anyone knows where i can find a carpet cleaner that will be an alternative.

Some of the shops--Cold storage or Fairprice have a carpet cleaner machine which you can rent to do your own cleaning. No idea how much they cost, but you usually get to keep it for 24 hrs. Cheaper than getting professionals in. Or there is a baking shop, seen at Bedok & Holland Village that sells Baking soda in larger jars.

muchos gracias Matney and to all who replied.

Nice Mr Dennis Tan of Cold Storage found some alternative brand Baking soda at Jasons in OT and also some carpet stuff so i shall head there today.

Now the other problem is removing the carpet adhesive of another area.
the landlord removed some carpet and left the adhesive on the floor so i need to help her remove that. First thing which comes to mind is turpentine.. :???:
