Hi there,
pls advise what the background of this question is as my American friend has a thai girlfriend who has been facing tremendous difficulties to stay in Singapore for longer than 7 days.Even a sponsorship of his American company here in Singapore could not help to extend the stay.
So marriage/studying or applying for EP/SPass/work permit etc. are the only solutions,I guess. Social Pass will not work,I assume.
It is quite sad that even decent young ladies from Thailand are considered as hookers by the authorities.Bt of course, there are some reasons...
Any questions?PM me...
Best regards from OT

And to let you know...
I assume that Thai nationals have to apply in the same way like all other nationalities.There4,I suggest to check with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) ->
www.mom.gov.sg or Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) ->
www.ica.gov.sg !
Rgds

I'm planning on working there but wasn't sure about visa's with regards to gf who will study if poss or maybe work. She didn't have any problems going for a short visit recently - they get 14days automatically upon entry
