Hi anne_2276,

I also just moved to singapore. Bonbon suggested me the same agencies as well.

bonbon, I tried the first two agencies you pointed out and all three seems to be actively posting the jobs in the weekend newspaper as well. So anne_2276, grab your saturday newspaper and keep sending. Good luck.

anne_2276,

Unfortunately I am still looking. I just arrived in Singapore 2 weeks ago and just started looking about a week. So, basically we are in the same boat :)

Job searching is probably the most nerve-wrecking experience, but we just need to try and keep trying.

One more thing, I sent most of my resumes via jobsdb.com, seems like the database is getting updated with new position everyday. Good luck.

glad to help!

good luck

the other way to try it is to go to the big investment banks' websites directly, and submit from there!

CSFB, UBS, HSBC, Barcap (I know for sure they all have been hiring!!!)

Bonbon, are you working for any of those investment banks? Right now RBS seems to be quite in the news? Do you have any idea how we can get it? Is RBS working environment better than barclays?
