Hello
I am new to this forum i just need some experts advice regarding my case
I am married to a singaporean last month before our wedding my wife called mom to ask whtr in need approval from mom or nt
The officer from mom said there is no need for me to seek for approval and we got married and applied for ltvprejected in 20 days and applead at that tym ica asked for leeter from mom stating i dnt need to seek approval to get married and thn we mailed mom regarding this but their reply was shocking for us they said i need approval to get married
So on 6 oct we applied for arroval but they reject
They sent letter to me stating i had married her before getting appoval from thm so i have to go through ban
And it says my wife can again request for my entry 6 months from the day i leave singapore
Question
Is it six months ban
An i can come in singapore as normal after 6 months
And do we need to apply again gor approval as i ll go through penalty for 6 months
Thank you

Sounds like you are pretty much screwed. You should have written/emailed MOM and not called them. You based your decision on a "voice" on the other end of the line whom I doubt even gave their name. Therefore you didn't get any permission at all. You could be permanently banned like my nephew's wife who's baby she had to leave here with the father, she's not seen for 8 years. The baby is in P3 now and just celebrated her 9th birthday last Wednesday. Good luck. You are going to need it.

I'm assuming your husband is/was working here on a Work Permit (WP). If that is the case and you didn't get written permission from the MOM to marry, you are just about out of luck. If you want to be with your husband, prepare to immigrate to his country because that is likely what it will take.

If I remember correctly from your first post all your troubles started from calling and hearing something. See, even what you wrote just above, doesn't really say that you will be allowed. Yes, you can come back, yes, they can lift the ban. The problem is "can" doesn't mean they will do it, so while I wish you all the best, be prepared for the troubles to continue.

Good luck.

You'll be pretty lucky if you don't get banned for longer period.

Since you know what to do, why bother asking here ?

Please enlighten me.
