Great World City

Post by Jay Jay » Sun, 16 Jul 2006 12:54 pm

Am 30 something mum of two moving to Sg Sept, husband's company booked us into Serviced apt. @ Great World. This looks like a fab place to stay for a holiday maybe, but not for a year or so. Would appreciate any feedback re housing, serviced apts and any other fun to be found in Singapore. Moving from West Africa (origionally Scottish), so am sure am going to be rather in awe of how accessable things are!!!

Great World City is not bad - the company is paying for it so ENJOY... lol... it isn't far from town and bus service is good. If you prefer laid-back, quiet, near the sea... I like Pasir Ris and Changi area.

Good luck n enjoy your stay!

It depends how long you are staying. Are you here for long term?

GWC is a great starting place to live in. Pretty central and easy to get places from, and it has a shopping mall and cinema on site as well. Suggest you check out the info on this very website about housing etc, it tells you a lot about districts and types of housing etc. I found it really useful to get ideas etc.
