30-90 days for a social visit pass.

No. You'll need to get a) hired by a company or b) start up your own and apply for an EntrePass.

It depends - I think some countries free trade agreements do allow you to work here whilst on a tourist VISA as long as you are bnot earning money for it locally.
Could be wrong though.

Once you have a job your employer will make an application to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for either a Work Permit or an Employment Pass depending upon what work you will be doing. It looks like you are a professional so they should apply for an Employment Pass for you.

Huh? How do you work in Singapore without "earning money for it locally"?

I mean, sure, you could physically sit in Singapore and do remote work for a company that pays you in country X, but that's not employment as far as Sg is considered and you won't get more than an SVP for it.
