Advice please on reasonable accommodation package?

I'm a reasonably senior manager with a big fat international company and I'm being posted to Singapore for 18 months (accompanied by wife and baby).

Any advice from folks in a similar position as to what is reasonable to be asking for in terms of accommodation allowance?

for 18 months + senior manager + current real estate condition in singapore, i'd say S$5,000.00 would be a good number. if you're greedy or your company is doing extremely well then ask for more. just don't expect a 1 acre lot. think manhattan. think san francisco.
