Hi, I'm moving out in a few weeks and was just wondering how many expats there actually are in singapore? Are these figures available anywhere, or would anyone there care to gestimate? An age group, nationality and marital status break down would be interesting aswell. I guess I'll soon be able to judge for myself but if possible I would like to know sooner.
Thanks.

Just inquisitive, it's nice to know what to expect... I've only spent 36 hrs in SG before so my experiences there are very limited.

moving to a new country is a great way to learn something about that country. there are forums where singaporeans are migrating to australia and ask, "where to find more singaporeans?".
my response to them is if they want to find singaporeans, move back to singapore.
