Buy SIM Card in US or in Singapore?

Post by kmovva » Sun, 08 Aug 2004 2:01 pm

Hello - I plan to be in SG for 60 days starting Sep. My phone is supposed to take a local SIM card. I see M1 card with 28SGD advertised for 51SGD on the web. Is it better to buy the card in SG? I am staying at Marriott Orchard, is there a shop close by where I can pick up a SIM card for my Nokia 6600?

Reg,
Kiran

Walk over to Lucky Plaza beside the hotel. There is alot of shops selling prepaid SIM cards.

Hope this helps :)

Pls be sure to unlock your phone for the SIM card in the US. I don't think you can do it in Singapore if you have your phone in the States.
