Accupuncture for weight loss

Has anyone tried accupuncture for weight loss or hunger surpression?

A visitor in town noticed some sign boards for this and is asking about it. I told her better to get feedback from others and not go to some quacks who might charge tons with no results. She eats when stressed then taking it off is a battle (god, i know how that feels!!) and her metabolism is very slow so really, just wanted some feedback on people who have tried accupuncture.

Hi, if there is acunputure for weight loss, i would like to try too. I know someone tried it in shanghai and the results are amazing in just one month.
You can also target spots you want to lose the weight on.
