Do anyone have any quick links to the top 10 laws of Signapore? I'm not looking for every law in detail more a brief top 10/20? I.E.
1) No Chewing Gum
2) No droping litter
etc, etc
The majority of the laws seem reasonable and for the good of the people which ones aren't?
Many Thanks
Patrick

Chewing gum is allowed. Can buy in any chemist.
1) Smoking is now restricted in pubs/clubs - good thing.
2) J-walking is apparently a problem but I do everyday and have never had a problem.
3) Be careful when drunk in a club; i've heard a few horror stories of guys who were a little too frisky for their own good.
4) Don't ever get involved in any kind of drugs. Even being caught with amounts considered as personal use in Europe, will end in the death penalty here.
5) I would avoid any kind of trouble/rowdy behavior.

Top 7 things that are banned in Singapore:
- Overhead wires
- Satellite dishes
- Standing water
- Freestanding billboards
- Malaysian newspapers
- Feeding pigeons
- Oral sex (except as foreplay)
So put that in your pipe and smoke it (but be sure to insert the pipe in its case afterward).

Facist
BTW the last item on your list about load and rowdy behaviour is good one except very hard to adhere to after a bottle of whisky and not enough sleep lor

What's this one about Oral sex? Does that mean for the dirty buggers who go to Ho's they've got to finish the job properly otherwise they get nicked?
I though they might have some more crazy rules? Answers on a postcode ..

Thats exactly what it means - Its only OK to have a blow job if you are going to follow it up with full intercourse directly afterwards (personally I think you could probably argue that you have short fuse and you wnet off before you meant too
)

How do you account for the 500,000 scripts dispensed in the last year of subutex in singapore for former heroin addicts,.. are these the ones that
didn't get caught, but have decided to turn a new leaf?

Are you disagreeing with what I said?
Just because someone is a recovering drug addict doesn't mean that they were every caught in Singapore with a quantity of drugs what would, in EUROPE, be considered as personal possession.
