Housing estimate

Post by Franck » Thu, 29 Jun 2006 8:34 pm

Hello everyone,

Newcomer in Singapore next September, I'm trying to have a rough estimate of the housing costs for a family with 2 kids. Problem is that I heard so many different things...I count on you !

I will be looking for a 4 bedroom condo with classical facilities located either in District 9 Grange Road / River valley Road and if possible or District 15 (less expensive I think). What must be my budget in SGD or USD please ?

Is there a big difference with cost of living in Paris ? What are the main changes ?

Thanks a lot for you help.
ciao

Franck,

For rentals in the Orchard area (4 rooms), prices can range from S$6,000 onwards. For River Valley areas, ranging from S$4,000-$5,000.

In the East coast area (district 15), the price range would be slightly lower ranging from S$3,500 onwards.

But all these are just estimates. To specifically know what suits you best with your budget, you can contact our Leasing Department at (65) 61000300 or email: [email protected] for a more personalised consultation.

thanks a lot for your reply. It helped me narrow my scope of searches and understand that East part is cheaper...
