Thanks Zuex,

Did you do it online or hand it in to the SingPost?

Lately people have been getting them super fast, like within days.

I wish you all the best with your EP!

Cheers
Michael

Contrats!

Don't think it's a record but in recent history it's got to be pretty fast I must admit.

I might hold the record with on of my ex-staff with my former company. I handcarried the app down along with the Electrical Engineer and got it approved within 2 hours (this at the old building no less - before efficiency set in even!)

Anyway, again, contrats!

Na don't worry about it because you did it by the form (not online), which takes longer. As they need to send it in and then wait for a letter to be sent back before you find out the answer.

Say it takes 2 days to send it in and then 4 days to process and then 2 more to send back. It can take more than a week, and that if you company was quick about handing in the form.

Thankz Michael,

Your 'online vs form 'info was certainly a breather for me. I must admit, you guyz got me stunned and worried for moment with you 2days and 2hrs recordz. Was not aware of the online application however. Juz followed directions from my future employer. You made my day. Cheerz

Congrats on getting EP - I submitted all documents to employer nearly 3 weeks ago and still no word!!! I'm getting worried. Could it be that the DP passes for my family are slowing things up? :???:

Mine has just been submitted by the agent handling for our company and I've been warned it could take over 4 weeks, as my company is setting up a new subsidiary in Singapore :(

I got my application off to my company this week and expect them to be submitting it before the end of the week.

I am hoping it doesn't get returned too fast... I still have so much stuff to do here before I can leave! :D
