Only just dawned on me that i may have difficulty getting a dependents pass thingy as my partner and i are not married. Is this the case?

Dependent's pass

Post by UKexpat » Wed, 28 Jun 2006 12:41 pm

Hi Deborah! I moved over here with my boyfriend and because we are not married I could not get a dependent's pass. However, I have instead a long term social visit pass which is issued for 2 years. As far as I am aware, it has the same standing as a dependent's pass.

Thanks very much for replying. That is very helpful and seeing as we are only planning on being there for 2 years it's perfect.
