Chinese art brushes

Post by micknlea » Fri, 23 Jun 2006 12:18 pm

Hi,
Does anyone know where to find art supplies for chinese brush work?

I need to find quality brushes in a range of sizes, mainly large. Thanks :)

just remembered the other branch - it's in the Bras Basah complex off North Bridge Road. i've been there and the brush selection is better as well as the fact the complex has other art supplies shops, printers, framers (very local so lots of chinese art) etc so i think it's the place to go.

Opposite the New National Library Building in Bugis has some good chinese art shops - You can also try the various art shops in the old shopping centre next door.

Bras Basah Complex (near Raffles Hotel) is the place to go if you are looking for art supplies. Ngee Ann City, Orchard has a few art shops as well as a Kikokuniya bookstore there. If you are not picky about quality, any of the small stationery shops or even Popular Bookstore should stock some Chinese brushes.
